Town Council Workshop on Coastal Erosion

This workshop is open to the public and will take place at 1 Beachside Drive, Orchid, Florida 32963, in the Sandpiper Room of the Orchid Island Beach Club. The start time of the workshop is scheduled at 9 a.m.

Supporting documents pertaining to the workshop are available at Town of Orchid’s Town Hall located at 7707 US Highway 1, Suite 1, Vero Beach, Florida 32967 weekdays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m with a daily closure from noon for half an hour.

Michael Sole and James Gray of the Indian River County Beach and Shores Preservation Advisory Committee will participate in the meeting, though not in their capacity as committee members, but as knowledgeable resources with relevant professional experience. Pursuant to the Charter, one or more Councilmembers may attend this workshop by teleconference.

All interested parties may participate in the workshop. Persons who wish to appeal any decision made by the Town Council with respect to any matter considered at the workshop will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.

Minutes for this workshop will be uploaded upon approval of the Town Council, which usually occurs at the next regular Town Council meeting.
