The SR 510/Wabasso Beach Road Bridge Railing Safety Improvements Project's installation phase will begin at the very end of March 2023. The fabrication of the railing is presently underway and is to be finalized by the third week of March. The project is expected to be finished by the fall. Single-lane closures are permitted nightly Sunday through Thursday, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. To minimize impact to the public, lane closures are not permitted on Fridays, Saturdays, holidays, or special event dates. Access will be maintained at all times. Lane closures can be tracked online.

This page was updated on 2/17/2023 regarding the date the installation phase will begin and when fabrication will be finalized, based on new information received by the Florida Department of Information on that date. These timeframes were delayed by one month.
