Status of Recent Building Permit Applications

In the table below are details of recent applications received in the Building Department along with their status through permit issuance. The table is updated on a weekly basis. Applications for which a permit has been issued remain in the table for up to one month, regardless of actual progress on the job site. This means that more issued permits and ongoing projects exist than are listed in this table and that some finalized or closed permits may still be listed here for some time after the job is finished. 

The Building Clerk proactively keeps in touch with contractors regarding the status of their permits throughout the process of approval, issuance and closure. Contractors are not required to rely on this table to know the status of their applications. You may also request copies of documents pertaining to current or past permits.

Below the table are provided further details about the status types. 

• Review In Progress: An application has been received by the Town and is under review by the Town's Building Official and/or Engineer.
• Application Incomplete: An application has been received by the Town, but it is incomplete. An application may be incomplete upon initial submittal because a contractor is providing the necessary documentation piecemeal, or may be found to be missing information or require correction during the review process. When an application's status is "Application Incomplete", the contractor has been notified of what is needed for the application to progress through approval and permit issuance.
• Permit Issued: The permit application has been approved and the contractor has been notified of its issuance.
