Biography in Brief
Cherry Stowe was born in the Netherlands and came to the United States, and Vero Beach specifically, in 2007 having in that same year completed a Master’s Degree with distinction at the University of Dundee in Scotland. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States on January 8, 2013, but remains fluent in Dutch as well as in English.
After working in a corporate senior account management position for Houston-based Pinnacle Financial Strategies, she joined the Town Administration of the Town of Orchid in mid-December 2015 in the position of Town Clerk. On May 30, 2019, Cherry Stowe earned her designation as a Certified Municipal Clerk from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. She was the second Town Clerk for Orchid to achieve this designation. She has since earned the designation of Master Municipal Clerk as well.
Having served as Interim Town Manager from September 23, 2021, the Town Council unanimously promoted Ms. Stowe to the position of Town Manager effective December 15 of the same year. She continues to serve the community today and remains as eager to be of assistance to residents now as when she started over ten years ago.
