Description

Ordinance No. 2025-03 repeals Article III of Chapter 2 of the Town of Orchid Code of Ordinances, which contains the Town’s Per Diem and Travel Policy. The Ordinance removes the policy from the Code because it governs the Town’s internal operations and is therefore more appropriately adopted and administered by resolution. The public purpose of the Ordinance is to place an internal administrative policy in a more suitable form, simplify the Town Code, and allow the Town’s travel and per diem procedures to be maintained and updated through resolution rather than codified ordinance.
