The Town of Orchid has partnered with MyGovernmentOnline (MGO) to offer online processing of building projects, from permitting through final inspection. This is the same company used by Indian River County and other local municipalities. If you already have a profile with MGO for another jurisdiction, you’ll be able to use it for the Town of Orchid and vice versa. This should save your administration lots of time!
In the portal, you can submit permit application documents, process your fees, download approved materials, and manage your inspections.
Steps to get started:
- Visit the MGO Portal page
- In the top right corner, change the jurisdiction to “Town of Orchid”
- Log in (or create a new account if you don’t have 1 yet – remember that you don’t need 1 for every jurisdiction; use the same account for all!)
- Select the permit type for your project (listed below too)
- Read carefully as you progress through the application
