On Saturday, June 1, the Summer Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Intergenerational Recreation Center.
If you have old electronics or hazardous household materials such as old paint cans, corrosive cleaners, oils, batteries, and pesticides taking up space in your garage, bring them down to 1590 9th Street South West in Vero Beach (also known as Oslo Road) for proper recycling and disposal by Waste Management and the Indian River County Solid Waste Disposal District. Participation in the event is free and a great opportunity to see the unique Recreation Center.
