Under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not wish your email address to be released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to the Town Administration or its officials. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.

Town of Orchid's Chief of Police is here to help Orchid's residents, visitors and businesses stay safe, and to be a liaison with the Indian River County Sheriff's Office on the Town's behalf. While the Chief of Police represents the Town 24/7, he is physically in Town Hall on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Our Chief of Police is Philip Redstone.
Orchid prides itself on its safety, but one can never be too careful. Remember to lock the doors to your residence and vehicles. Be sure to set your alarm whenever you leave the property unattended. Be vigilant and report suspicious behavior to Access Control. In case of an emergency, contact 911 directly.
Keep in mind that scammers can target you through the telephone or email. Do not give out any personal information to parties reaching out to you in a manner that you have not requested. Common scams include a warning that you are in trouble (for instance, that an arrest warrant has been issued for you) and that the caller can help you. Never email your social security number, bank details, etc. Please report scams to the Indian River County Sheriff Department 772-569-6700.
